No Romanian word for “accountability”

Yes thats right, there is no exact word in the Romanian Language for “accountability”. The amount of briberies is off the charts. Most of the time to receive medical treatment. Transparency International consider them the most corrupt country in Europe. The EU commission had criticized Romania for its corruption, but unlike Bulgaria, have not given sanctions.

Daniel Morar is the man with job to lead the independent commission to handle the corruption, despite the parliaments attempts to slow him down. He has managed to bring in 109 cases to court, with only 25 actually being prosecuted. Most cases being about the government party.

It is unlikely that the blatant corruption in Romanian politics will effect election results. It seems that Romanians have a high tolerence for corruption. *Coughs* Like Ireland.
